Internal Audit Officer

About the role

MAW Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented professional to join its team as an Internal Audit Officer. The role covers internal audit operations, physical and perpetual verifications, coordination with the external audit team and reporting of audit findings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal audit operations according to the approved audit plan and follow-up audits according to the audit calendar.
• Perform physical verification of spare parts and vehicles, and conduct perpetual verification of spare parts.
• Carry out surprise audits and special audit assignments as required by management.
• Coordinate closely with the External Audit Team to ensure timely completion and closure of audit assignments.
• Prepare, maintain and file audit reports and related documentation.
• Review internal controls, compliance and operational processes, identify control gaps and report audit observations to the relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Postgraduate degree in finance, or a semi-qualified CA with a bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience or knowledge in internal audit and compliance is required.
• Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
• Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
