Service Advisor - Two-Wheeler

About the role

We are seeking a Service Advisor for our two‑wheeler workshop in Kathmandu. The role involves managing customer interactions, coordinating with technicians and parts, and ensuring timely, high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day workshop activities to ensure smooth service operations.
• Receive customers, understand their vehicle/service requirements, and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Prepare and open job cards, accurately recording complaints, vehicle details, and required services.
• Coordinate with technicians, assign jobs based on workload, priority, and technical needs.
• Monitor repair progress, ensure timely completion, and guarantee vehicles are delivered within committed timelines.
• Update customers regularly on service status, additional repairs, estimated costs, and delivery schedules.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and address customer complaints before delivery.
• Work with the Spare Parts Department to secure required parts promptly.
• Monitor technicians' productivity and optimize workshop resource utilization.
• Ensure adherence to company service processes, quality standards, safety procedures, and workshop policies.
• Perform final quality checks and maintain accurate records of job cards, service history, and customer interactions.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, aiming for timely resolution.
• Follow up after service to obtain feedback and strengthen customer relationships.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role, preferably in the two‑wheeler automotive sector.
• Good knowledge of two‑wheeler servicing, repair processes, and basic technical diagnosis.
• Strong customer handling and communication abilities.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with technicians, spare parts, and workshop personnel.
• Problem‑solving, interpersonal, and time‑management skills.
• Proficiency in maintaining service records and using basic computer applications.
• Capability to work in a fast‑paced workshop environment and manage multiple customers/tasks.
