SRHR Education Specialist

About the role

The SRHR Education Specialist will design, deliver and evaluate sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) learning experiences for schools, community groups and partner organisations in Kathmandu. Working on‑site, you will create learner‑centred materials, facilitate workshops and ensure content is culturally appropriate and inclusive.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments and research to inform curriculum development.
• Develop and adapt SRHR educational materials for diverse age groups and cultural contexts.
• Facilitate interactive workshops, trainings and classroom sessions.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports and contribute to outreach initiatives.
• Collaborate with creative, program and monitoring teams to align content with evidence‑based practices.

Required profile

• Strong background in education, training or curriculum design.
• Experience facilitating workshops and using learner‑centred teaching methods.
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusivity, gender equity and rights‑based SRHR approaches.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in English and local languages, with familiarity with the Nepal context.
