Telecommunication Engineer (Kathmandu)

About the role

E-VOX Tech Pvt Ltd is seeking a Telecommunication Engineer to join its Kathmandu office. The role involves designing, implementing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining professional two‑way radio and telecommunication systems for a range of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, test, and commission DMR, PoC, LTE, VHF/UHF, repeater, dispatch platforms, and body‑worn camera (BWC) infrastructures.
• Support voice and data network performance, diagnose issues, and provide timely technical support during pre‑sales, project rollout, and after‑sales phases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve system efficiency and apply security best practices.
• Document configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions accurately.
• Travel frequently across Nepal to install, commission, and service equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in telecommunications or network engineering (preferred).
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Nepal.
• Strong analytical abilities, clear documentation skills, and effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Two‑way radio technologies (DMR, PoC, LTE, VHF/UHF, repeater systems).
• Voice over IP (VoIP) and dispatch platform knowledge.
• Network design and infrastructure planning.
• Troubleshooting and technical support.
• Networking protocols, routing, switching.
