Tours Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a customer‑focused Tours Consultant to help clients plan and book domestic and international travel. The role involves managing the full travel journey, from initial inquiry to post‑trip follow‑up, ensuring a seamless experience for both business and leisure travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Book airline tickets, hotel rooms, car rentals and travel packages using GDS platforms.
• Process modifications, cancellations and re‑bookings while maintaining accurate records.
• Advise clients on travel options that match their budgets, preferences and visa requirements.
• Issue tickets, itineraries, invoices and other travel documents.
• Arrange connecting flights, airport transfers, accommodations and travel insurance.
• Calculate fares, taxes and service charges, and handle payments.
• Manage flight delays, cancellations, schedule changes and emergency travel arrangements.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients before, during and after trips to ensure satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with major GDS systems.
• Strong knowledge of airline ticketing, travel documentation and visa requirements.
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple bookings simultaneously.
