Commis Chef – Pan Asian

Every plate has the potential to create a lasting memory for our guests. We are seeking a Commis Chef with a passion for presentation, dedication to flavour, and a commitment to high standards from the workstation to the table.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare visually appealing meals that delight the eyes and taste buds.
• Maintain ownership of your workstation, managing supplies, equipment, and waste.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards exceed local regulations.
• Assist with washing up and other kitchen duties as needed.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks and support the team wherever required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in preparing sushi and dim sum.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs (23 kg), including bending and kneeling.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Compliance with local food‑handling and alcohol‑service laws; must meet minimum age and language requirements.
• Strong communication skills, warm and welcoming demeanor.
