Training Facilitator – Nutrition (Consultancy)

About the role

UNICEF Nepal is seeking an experienced Training Facilitator to lead a three‑day Master Training of Trainers (M‑ToT) on nutrition‑focused Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) in Kathmandu. The consultancy will design and deliver a competency‑based training package that equips participants with practical skills to analyse behavioural drivers, design context‑specific interventions, and institutionalise SBC within multi‑sector nutrition systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design a competency‑based SBC training curriculum tailored to nutrition programmes.
• Facilitate interactive training sessions for national and provincial trainers.
• Guide participants in behavioural analysis, intervention design, and monitoring of behaviour‑change outcomes.
• Support the integration of SBC approaches into government nutrition plans and systems.
• Provide post‑training technical assistance and documentation of lessons learned.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Rural Development, Communications, Public Health, or related social science.
• Minimum 10 years of experience designing and facilitating SBC capacity‑building programmes.
• Proven experience with nutrition programming, equity‑focused approaches, and working within government systems.
