UK Education Counselor (Kathmandu)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced UK Education Counselor to support students in Kathmandu who wish to pursue higher education in the United Kingdom. The role involves guiding candidates through university selection, application preparation, visa processes, and pre‑departure arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Counsel students on UK study opportunities based on academic background, career goals, and preferences.
• Provide accurate information about UK universities, courses, entry requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and intakes.
• Assist students in selecting suitable universities and programs.
• Guide students through application documentation, SOPs, personal statements, and other admission requirements.
• Advise on UK student visa requirements, documentation, and application procedures.
• Support students with English‑language test requirements such as IELTS and PTE.
• Maintain regular follow‑up, manage the counseling and application pipeline, and keep accurate records of inquiries and conversions.
• Coordinate with universities, representatives, and internal teams regarding applications and admissions.
• Assist with offer letters, CAS processes, financial documentation, and pre‑departure preparation.
• Participate in education fairs, seminars, university sessions, and other student engagement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in UK education counseling or study‑abroad consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of the UK higher education system, university admissions, and visa documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, follow‑up, and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with CRM or student‑management systems (advantageous).
