UK Education Counselor (Full‑Time, Kathmandu)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced UK Education Counselor to join our consultancy team in Kathmandu. The role involves guiding students interested in studying in the United Kingdom, from course selection through to visa guidance and enrollment support. You will work closely with students, parents, and UK institutions to ensure a smooth admission process.

Key responsibilities

• Counsel students on UK study opportunities, including universities, colleges, courses, entry requirements, and career pathways.
• Assess academic backgrounds, interests, and financial circumstances to recommend suitable study options.
• Provide accurate information on tuition fees, scholarships, accommodation, and living expenses.
• Handle student applications from initial counseling through admission and enrollment, including document preparation and submission.
• Coordinate with UK institutions and representatives regarding applications, offers, and admissions.
• Explain admission requirements, offer letters, tuition payments, and enrollment procedures.
• Guide students on UK student visa requirements and documentation, ensuring up‑to‑date information.
• Maintain records of inquiries, applications, offers, visa outcomes, and follow‑ups.
• Participate in education fairs, seminars, workshops, school visits, and promotional events.
• Collaborate with marketing and application‑processing teams to meet organizational targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in education counseling, preferably focused on the UK (1–3 years).
• Good knowledge of the UK education system and major institutions.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple student applications and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using CRM or application‑management systems.
