Video Editing Instructor / Trainer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Video Editing Instructor to deliver practical, industry‑focused training to aspiring editors. The role involves teaching professional editing techniques, guiding hands‑on projects, and helping students build strong portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct practical video editing training from beginner to advanced levels.
• Guide students through real‑world editing projects, covering storytelling, pacing, transitions, sound, and color grading.
• Create assignments, exercises, and learning activities that reinforce key concepts.
• Review student work, provide constructive feedback, and support portfolio development.
• Stay current with video editing tools, techniques, and industry trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional video editing experience.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly in a classroom setting.
• Previous teaching or training experience is preferred.
• Professional video editing portfolio is mandatory.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of DaVinci Resolve.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Understanding of color correction, color grading, and audio editing.
• Experience with motion graphics, VFX, and professional rendering workflows.
