Accountant

About the role

Three Star Foods Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records and support financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions, including books of accounts, ledgers, journals and supporting documents.
• Prepare, verify and process invoices, bills, receipts, vouchers and payment documents.
• Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations, identify discrepancies and coordinate resolutions with relevant departments.
• Assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements, management reports and month‑end/year‑end closing activities.
• Support tax and statutory compliance by maintaining VAT, TDS records and assisting with timely filing of required documents.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, follow up on outstanding balances and verify payment requests before processing.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Stores and Operations to ensure financial documents are complete, accurate and properly authorized.
• Provide general finance support to the department, including cash and bank transaction recording and other ad‑hoc accounting duties.
