Accounting Writer

About the role

Cubix Tech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Writer to join its team in Kathmandu. The role combines accounting, finance and statistical analysis with advanced Excel‑based reporting and content creation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accurate accounting, finance and financial calculations, including NPV, IRR, ROI and break‑even analysis.
• Prepare, analyse and interpret financial statements, budgets, cash‑flows and financial ratios.
• Develop Excel‑based financial models, dashboards, charts and data visualisations.
• Clean, validate and analyse large datasets, applying statistical techniques such as regression, hypothesis testing and correlation.
• Write clear academic and professional reports on accounting, finance and quantitative topics.
• Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver high‑quality outputs on time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related field (candidates pursuing a degree are also welcome).
• Strong numerical and analytical ability with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, Taxation.
• Financial Statement Analysis and Financial Modelling.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX‑MATCH, IF/IFS, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, PivotTables, PivotCharts, financial and statistical functions).
• Statistics and quantitative analysis (descriptive statistics, regression, hypothesis testing).
• Data analysis, data cleaning and validation.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, SAP, QuickBooks, SPSS.
