Accounts Manager

About the role

Khajurico Nepal is looking for an Accounts Manager to oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations at its corporate office. The role reports directly to the Chief Finance Officer and ensures that all financial transactions are recorded accurately, reconciled promptly, and reported in line with company policies and legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting activities across the corporate office, branches, factories and other business units.
• Ensure timely posting of receipts, payments, purchases, sales, expenses and journal entries.
• Maintain the General Ledger, subsidiary ledgers, trial balance and accounting schedules.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing, including accruals, provisions, depreciation and adjustments.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, supplier invoice processing and payment cycles.
• Manage banking operations, prepare bank reconciliations and handle treasury tasks.
• Record and reconcile import/export transactions, letters of credit and related trade‑finance items.
• Prepare information for VAT, TDS, income tax, excise duty and other statutory returns.
• Maintain inventory accounting for raw materials, work‑in‑progress and finished goods.
• Support internal, statutory and tax audits with required schedules and documentation.
• Allocate work to accounting staff, provide guidance and monitor timely completion.

Required profile

• At least 5 years (60 months) of experience in accounting or finance.
• Proven ability to manage a team and coordinate accounting functions across multiple locations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, statutory compliance and financial reporting.
