Aftersales Service Head – 4W

About the role

The Aftersales Service Head – 4W will lead the four-wheeler after-sales and service network in Kathmandu, driving technical excellence, customer satisfaction and profitability across multiple workshops.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage 4W service and workshop operations across assigned locations, setting service strategies to meet revenue, productivity and KPI targets.
• Monitor workshop performance, technician productivity, service capacity and turnaround time, ensuring high repair quality and preventive maintenance.
• Oversee warranty, technical claims, service campaigns and coordinate with OEMs and technical partners.
• Develop and coach service managers, technicians, advisors and support staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Control service costs, manpower utilization, spare-parts consumption and workshop profitability.
• Establish SOPs, safety standards, quality controls and compliance requirements.
• Analyse service reports and KPIs to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Support expansion and standardisation of the service network.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field; MBA/Management qualification is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in four-wheeler automotive service/after-sales operations.
• Proven leadership in service workshop management and team development.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving abilities.
