Area Service Engineer

About the role

The Area Service Engineer oversees all authorized service centers in the assigned region, ensuring consistent service quality, technical support, and customer satisfaction while complying with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support daily operations of authorized service centers.
• Conduct regular visits to verify compliance with policies, processes, and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to service technicians and workshop teams.
• Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and escalate critical issues.
• Coordinate with service center managers to improve productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor spare parts availability and coordinate to minimize downtime.
• Conduct service audits, prepare inspection reports, and recommend improvements.
• Organize technical training and skill development programs for technicians.
• Oversee warranty claim processes and ensure policy compliance.
• Analyze service performance, identify improvement opportunities, and report to management.
• Maintain communication on service updates, technical bulletins, and new product information.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and workshops remain clean and organized.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in automobile service operations or workshop management.
• Experience with authorized service networks (preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and service management systems.
• Valid two‑wheeler driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within the region.
