BIM Modeler / Revit Specialist

About the role

Griha Designs & Engineering is seeking a full‑time BIM Modeler / Revit Specialist to join its multidisciplinary team in Dhobighat, Kathmandu. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining high‑quality architectural and engineering BIM models, supporting coordination across all disciplines and contributing to the evolution of the firm’s BIM standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update accurate Revit models for architecture, structural, MEP and civil disciplines.
• Organise project setup, worksets, views, sheets, and linked models following company standards.
• Create, modify and manage Revit families, templates and a shared library.
• Coordinate models to identify and resolve clashes and inconsistencies.
• Prepare coordinated permit and construction documentation.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of models and drawings.
• Train and support junior modelers, architects and engineers in Revit and BIM workflows.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of company‑wide BIM standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum two years of professional experience with BIM and Revit.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP and civil drawings.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience with SketchUp.
• Solid understanding of BIM modeling, families, templates and multidisciplinary coordination.
