Brand & Business Development Manager – FMCG (Nepal)

About the role

We are launching an established Indian FMCG brand in Nepal, focusing on ice‑cream, sauces and other packaged foods. As the Brand & Business Development Manager you will own the end‑to‑end process of building the brand from scratch, shaping market strategy, product localisation and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and adapt the brand’s positioning for Nepalese consumers while preserving the core identity.
• Design and execute annual brand, marketing and activation plans, including advertising, digital, social media, influencer and retail activations.
• Conduct market research across ice‑cream, sauces and related categories to identify gaps, consumer preferences and competitive opportunities.
• Recommend which Indian SKUs to introduce and develop new product concepts tailored to Nepal.
• Lead regulatory processes: product registration, food licences, testing, certifications and label compliance.
• Coordinate packaging artwork, size formats and labeling to meet Nepalese regulations.
• Work with the Indian principal, creative agencies, designers and external partners to launch products and campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the food/FMCG sector, preferably with brand launches in Nepal.
• Hands‑on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Strong understanding of Nepal’s market dynamics, consumer behaviour and regulatory environment.
