Bridge Engineer – Design, Construction & Supervision

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Bridge Engineer to lead the planning, design, construction and supervision of bridge projects in Nepal. The role requires a strong technical background, a Master’s degree and at least seven years of relevant experience to ensure high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and supervise bridge construction and related engineering works.
• Review structural designs, drawings, calculations and technical documents.
• Conduct site visits, monitor construction progress, quality and safety.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers and project management teams.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical recommendations and solutions.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction‑related issues.
• Ensure bridge works comply with approved designs, specifications, standards and project requirements.
• Prepare and review technical reports, progress reports and other project documentation.
• Support project planning, quality control and timely completion of bridge works.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in bridge design, analysis and construction supervision.
• Proven ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, contractors and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, specifications and safety regulations.
