Business Development Executive – Study Abroad

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to drive student recruitment for a growing study‑abroad consultancy in Kathmandu. The role involves generating leads, guiding prospects through the enrollment process and building referral networks.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and convert study‑abroad student leads through calls, digital outreach, referrals, events and seminars.
• Follow up with prospective students and guide them through the lead‑to‑enrollment sales process.
• Present study‑abroad destinations, programmes and consultancy services to students and parents.
• Build relationships with referral partners, schools, colleges and community networks to generate leads.
• Represent the consultancy at education fairs, study‑abroad events, seminars and promotional activities.
• Maintain and update leads, follow‑ups, pipeline stages and conversion records in the CRM.
• Collaborate with Counselling, Admissions, Visa and Marketing teams to ensure smooth student onboarding.
• Track market trends, competitor activities and destination‑country developments to identify new recruitment opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in study‑abroad or education consultancy, student recruitment, education sales or visa services.
• Proven ability to generate and convert student leads and meet sales targets.
• Good understanding of international education pathways and study‑abroad processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Target‑driven, proactive and organized with confidence in handling students and parents.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
