Business Development Officer - Consultancy

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Officer to drive student recruitment and business growth within the education and study‑abroad sector. The role involves identifying new opportunities, generating leads, and building strong relationships with prospective students, parents, institutions and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and support student recruitment.
• Generate and follow up on leads via calls, messages, digital channels, events and other activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, parents, educational institutions and business partners.
• Promote education, study‑abroad and related services.
• Coordinate with Counseling, Admission, Visa and Marketing teams to improve lead conversion.
• Support education fairs, seminars, workshops, campaigns and promotional activities.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, follow‑ups and conversions.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and potential opportunities, and prepare regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, education consultancy or a related field.
• Knowledge of sales, lead generation, customer service and relationship management.
• Understanding of education and study‑abroad services is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Target‑oriented with good organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively across teams.
