Business Development Officer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Officer to join TechAxis in Kathmandu. The role focuses on building relationships with corporate clients and academic institutions to promote our IT training, internship, and corporate learning solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new B2B business opportunities through outreach and networking.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, educational institutions, and strategic partners.
• Promote TechAxis’s professional training programs, corporate training solutions, internship opportunities, and recruitment services.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and follow‑ups to convert leads into long‑term partnerships.
• Support market research, lead generation, and business development strategies.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, and partnership documentation.
• Represent TechAxis at networking events, career fairs, seminars, and industry engagements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective delivery of client and partner requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a related field.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Interest in business development, B2B sales and partnership development.
• Ability to conduct market research and identify new business opportunities.
• Self‑motivated, organized and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous experience or involvement in sales, marketing, business development or student leadership is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
