Business Development Officer

About the role

LD Cloud, a Nepal‑based cloud infrastructure and technology service provider, is seeking an energetic Business Development Officer to drive growth by identifying new opportunities and building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers across SMEs, enterprises, fintech, education, e‑commerce and other sectors requiring cloud infrastructure.
• Generate qualified leads via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, events and direct meetings.
• Promote LD Cloud services such as VPS, VPC, cloud servers, storage, backup and managed services.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations and commercial offers for prospective clients.
• Conduct client meetings, product presentations and service demonstrations, negotiate terms and assist in closing deals.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, track progress and work toward monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with existing and prospective customers, upsell and cross‑sell where appropriate.
• Research Nepal’s cloud, hosting and IT infrastructure market, monitor competitors and develop partnerships with IT firms and resellers.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, submit regular sales activity reports and track conversion rates.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in business development or sales, preferably in cloud or IT services.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to understand customer requirements and coordinate with technical teams.
