Clinical Nurse

About the role

The Clinical Nurse will deliver direct patient care and clinical support to users of I Care Away’s digital health platform. Working on‑site in Kathmandu, you will ensure safe, high‑quality care throughout the patient journey, from assessment to follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and assist with diagnostic procedures and health check‑ups.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Document all clinical activities in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post‑visit care.
• Support follow‑up appointments and continuity of care.
• Maintain infection‑control practices and patient‑safety protocols.
• Adapt to evolving digital‑health workflows and use digital tools for documentation.

Required profile

• Current nursing license/registration and completion of an accredited nursing program (diploma or degree).
• Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and care planning.
• Experience in outpatient, primary‑care, or diagnostic‑center settings (preferred).
• Ability to use electronic health‑record systems and basic digital tools.
• Excellent communication and patient‑education abilities.
• Proven teamwork in multidisciplinary environments and capacity to manage multiple patients safely.
• Knowledge of infection‑prevention, safety protocols, and quality‑care standards.
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic, technology‑driven environment.
• Proficiency in local languages and good command of English.
• Prior experience with telehealth, digital health platforms, or home‑based care is an advantage.
