About the role
The Cluster Pharmacist leads pharmacy‑related clinical care and governance across the Gurkha Welfare Trust’s medical centres in Butwal. This full‑time position ensures that pharmacy services meet the Trust’s standards, policies and quality requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Implement pharmacy clinical care and governance in accordance with GWT(N) service instructions and quality standards.
- Manage pharmacy service delivery at key and non‑key AWC sites and patrol bases.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- At least two years of experience in pharmacy practice or a related clinical setting.
- Familiarity with Nepalese health regulations and GWT(N) service instructions.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
Required skills
- Pharmacy service management.
- Clinical governance implementation.
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
