Commercial Director

About the role

The Commercial Director for The Soaltee Hotels & Resorts in Nepal will drive the overall commercial strategy, revenue growth, market positioning and profitability across the hotel portfolio. This senior leader will integrate sales, marketing, revenue management, distribution, digital, loyalty and reservations functions to maximize revenue and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the commercial strategy for the portfolio, translating business objectives into revenue and market‑growth priorities.
• Provide strategic direction to Directors of Sales & Marketing and hotel commercial teams, setting performance expectations, KPIs and accountability.
• Drive achievement of annual revenue, market share and profitability targets across all properties.
• Lead the creation of annual commercial plans, budgets, forecasts and revenue strategies for each hotel and the overall portfolio.
• Identify new markets, segments, channels and demand opportunities, focusing on international, domestic, corporate, leisure and MICE business.
• Design integrated sales, marketing, digital and demand‑generation strategies to strengthen brand visibility and generate incremental business.
• Leverage the portfolio for cross‑selling opportunities and economies of scale while maintaining distinct market positions for each hotel.
• Strengthen relationships with corporate accounts, travel trade, destination partners, MICE operators and other commercial stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, pricing, distribution and performance, turning insights into actionable commercial decisions.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to align commercial strategies with guest experience, service delivery and operational capacity.
• Foster a culture of commercial discipline, data‑driven decision‑making, innovation and accountability.
• Present regular portfolio‑level performance reviews, insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
