Content Strategist and Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a sharp, creative, and analytically minded Content Strategist to join our growing digital marketing agency in Kathmandu. You will own the content strategy function, from auditing clients' existing digital presence to developing tailored content plans and measuring their impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive content strategies and monthly/quarterly calendars for hospitality, lifestyle, and corporate clients.
• Conduct content audits, define content pillars, brand voice guidelines, and messaging frameworks.
• Stay current with algorithm changes on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube and adjust formats, posting schedules, and hashtag strategies.
• Design engagement‑driving content, create caption frameworks, and oversee community‑management guidelines.
• Track performance metrics, prepare monthly reports with actionable insights, and demonstrate ROI.
• Collaborate with business development on pitches, brief creative teams, and support new‑business proposals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in content strategy, social media management, or digital marketing.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their algorithms.
• Proven ability to build and execute content strategies that drive engagement and growth.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social media management tools such as Meta Business Suite, Later, and Hootsuite.
