Content Writer – Travel & Adventure

About the role

The Content Writer will join Third Eye Adventure Nepal’s Kathmandu office to create engaging web and marketing copy that showcases the company’s trekking, tour and adventure experiences. You will translate destination knowledge and tour details into clear, audience‑focused content that reflects the brand’s commitment to responsible travel.

Key responsibilities

• Research Himalayan destinations, trekking routes and cultural highlights to produce accurate, informative copy.
• Write and optimise website pages, blog articles, trip descriptions and social‑media posts.
• Proofread and edit all content for clarity, grammar and consistency with brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to turn tour information into compelling marketing material.
• Update content to align with seasonal offers, promotional campaigns and new itineraries.
• Develop content concepts that emphasize cultural authenticity and sustainable tourism.

Required profile

• Strong web content writing ability with a focus on clear, engaging, audience‑centric copy.
• Experience in content strategy and planning around marketing goals.
• Excellent research skills related to destinations, trekking routes and cultural aspects.
• Outstanding proofreading skills and adherence to style guidelines.
• Fluent written English with the ability to adapt tone for website, blog, social media and email.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kathmandu, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with the travel, trekking or outdoor adventure sector in Nepal is a plus.
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices and content management systems.
• Relevant academic background in Communications, Journalism, English, Tourism or equivalent experience.
