District Project Coordinator – SRHR & GBV, Baitadi, Nepal

About the role

The District Project Coordinator is a field‑based position that facilitates the implementation of UNFPA‑supported integrated sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and gender‑based violence (GBV) interventions across assigned districts and municipalities in Baitadi, Nepal. The incumbent maintains regular engagement with provincial, district and local authorities, coordinates implementing partners and service‑delivery actors, monitors programme quality and results, and supports timely follow‑up and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support policy advocacy, planning and budgeting at sub‑national level by helping municipalities integrate SRHR, GBV prevention, gender equality and social inclusion priorities into plans, budgets and expenditure reviews.
• Provide programme implementation support, coordination and quality assurance, maintaining liaison with local governments, district authorities, implementing partners, WHO, UNFPA teams and service providers to ensure delivery of planned activities.
• Monitor, document and report programme progress and results at district level through regular field visits, joint monitoring, documentation of lessons learned and preparation of reports for donors and stakeholders.
• Promote risk management, safeguarding and humanitarian support, ensuring a respectful, inclusive and safe working environment and adherence to PSEA, child safeguarding and related policies.
