Electrical Engineer – Rooftop Solar Projects

About the role

Prime Power is looking for an Electrical Engineer to lead the installation, testing and commissioning of rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems across project sites in Birgunj and Biratnagar. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, safe and timely solar installations while working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test, commission and maintain rooftop solar PV systems on‑site.
• Conduct site surveys, collect data and prepare technical documentation for each project.
• Monitor system performance, diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory standards throughout project execution.
• Coordinate daily activities with project teams, contractors and clients to keep schedules on track.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of hands‑on experience with solar PV installation or related electrical engineering work.
• Strong interest in renewable energy and willingness to work on‑site.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
