Engineering Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead high‑performing software teams in Nepal. You will combine strong people leadership with deep technical understanding to drive delivery of high‑quality solutions and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop engineers through regular 1:1s, coaching, and individual development plans.
• Own team performance, delivery commitments, and outcomes, identifying and resolving risks early.
• Manage priorities, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations across distributed teams.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical decision‑making, and quality initiatives.
• Promote best practices in testing, code quality, documentation, CI/CD, maintainability, and security.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.

Required profile

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership or management roles.
• Proven track record of delivering successful engineering outcomes in Agile environments.
• Strong people‑management, coaching, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, prioritization, and decision‑making abilities.
• Experience working with distributed, cross‑functional teams.
