Event Manager

About the role

The Event Manager will design, plan and execute a wide range of brand‑focused events and activations that drive consumer engagement and support business objectives. Working closely with Marketing, Sales and external agencies, you will ensure each event delivers clear KPIs and a measurable impact on brand visibility and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual and campaign‑specific event plans, including concepts, timelines, budgets and resource allocation.
• Plan and execute BTL activities, roadshows, sampling programs and experiential marketing campaigns that enhance brand activation.
• Manage product launch events from venue selection and branding to media coordination and post‑launch performance analysis.
• Oversee full event execution, including venue logistics, permissions, staffing, equipment, entertainment and on‑site problem solving.
• Identify, brief and negotiate with agencies and vendors, monitor performance and ensure contractual compliance.
• Control event budgets, track expenditures, identify cost‑saving opportunities and produce final cost reports.
• Collaborate with Sales and Trade Marketing to align events with sales targets, distributor needs and retailer engagement.
• Integrate digital and social media elements, coordinate content creation and measure online engagement generated by events.
• Conduct risk assessments, ensure safety standards, develop contingency plans and manage emergency procedures.
• Prepare pre‑event, day‑of and post‑event reports, analysing attendance, consumer feedback, leads and ROI.
