External Engagement and Strategy Trainee

About the role

World Vision International Nepal is offering a one‑year External Engagement and Strategy Traineeship for recent Nepali graduates. The role supports the advocacy, communications and partnership teams in generating evidence from the field, enhancing the organisation’s reputation, and strengthening community connections.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of the ENOUGH advocacy campaign and related activities.
• Provide administrative, secretarial and clerical support for scaling up advocacy and campaign initiatives.
• Collect and package field‑based stories, photos and videos for website, social media and publications, applying a GEDSI perspective.
• Prepare, schedule and post content on World Vision Nepal’s social media channels.
• Track media mentions of World Vision Nepal and produce regular social‑media and media reports.
• Support partnership coordination, including maintaining MoA/MoU records, updating partner databases, and organizing partner award events.
• Maintain meeting minutes, arrange logistics for team events and ensure accurate correspondence.

Required profile

• Recent graduate from a Nepali university with a strong interest in advocacy, communications or partnership work.
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work closely with field staff, NGOs and partner organisations.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑moving humanitarian environment.
