Finance Manager

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow activities.
• Oversee manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, COGS, production expenses, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable, working capital, receivables, and payables.
• Ensure compliance with taxation, statutory requirements, audits, and financial regulations.
• Develop and monitor budgets, financial controls, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, sales, and management teams on financial matters.
• Lead internal and external audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for business planning and decision‑making.
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and effective internal controls.

Required profile

• CA / Chartered Accountant qualification (mandatory).
• 5+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing costing, inventory, budgeting, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage financial operations independently and work closely with senior management.
• Preferred experience in plant/manufacturing finance and cost accounting, including standard costing, BOM, production variance, and inventory control.
• Experience managing or mentoring a finance/accounting team.
