Finance Manager – Remote, $100k/year

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead global finance operations through a team of Senior Accountants while staying hands‑on with core finance tasks. You will inspect invoices, payments, reconciliations and allocations, diagnose errors, and create coaching to prevent recurrence, all while driving AI‑powered automation.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a high‑performing finance operations team that delivers accurate, timely finance outputs.
• Prioritize work across the team based on deadlines, business impact, dependencies and financial risk.
• Inspect finance dashboards and outputs to ensure accuracy of bills, invoices, payments, reconciliations and allocations.
• Diagnose quality failures, identify root causes and write evidence‑based coaching to prevent repeat errors.
• Identify and implement AI, LLM and automation solutions to eliminate manual work and improve speed and accuracy.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance and a professional qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience on at least five Big 4 audits (as auditor or client) and finance work in an organization with ≥ $100 M revenue.
• People‑management experience with direct responsibility for finance or accounting professionals.
• Hands‑on experience across AP, AR/customer invoicing, bank and control‑account reconciliations, and revenue/spend allocation.
• Proven ability to prioritize and allocate operational finance work while managing deadlines and blockers.
• Experience embedding AI or LLM tools into high‑volume finance transaction workflows with measurable efficiency gains.
• Availability to work US business hours.
