Finance Officer – Accounting & Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Officer to oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting and statutory compliance for our real‑estate business in Baluwatar. The role involves managing ledgers, preparing management reports and supporting budgeting and cash‑flow activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily accounting transactions, maintain ledgers, vouchers and financial records.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations and management reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow monitoring and variance analysis.
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, TDS, income tax and other statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain proper documentation.
• Monitor project costs, expenses and overall financial performance.
• Provide timely financial analysis to the General Manager – Finance while maintaining confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, budgeting and reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in the real‑estate, construction or investment sector is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Hands‑on experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
