About the role
We are seeking a Finance Officer to manage accounts payable and core finance processing, ensure timely month‑end close, support audit activities and provide operational backup across the finance team.
Key responsibilities
- Manage AP, VAT support, reconciliations and month‑end activities.
- Ensure month‑end close tasks meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Prepare audit schedules and respond to audit queries.
- Maintain purchase ledger controls, process payments and resolve issues.
- Perform bank reconciliations in the accounting software.
- Assist the Team Lead with periodic financial reports.
- Provide backup and operational support to the finance team as needed.
Required profile
- Education: ACCA or CA qualification (in progress or completed).
- Industry experience: Minimum 1‑2 years in finance or accounting.
- Professional discretion, meticulous attention to timelines and a team‑player attitude.
- High ethics and professionalism.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Xero (preferred)
