Financial Accountant

About the role

The company is seeking a Financial Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This full‑time position will support statutory compliance, tax planning, and audit preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and financial transactions, maintaining books, ledgers, journals and vouchers.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Handle bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely VAT, TDS, income‑tax and other statutory compliance.
• Assist in tax planning, audit preparation and coordination with auditors.
• Monitor receivables, payables, expenses and cash flow.
• Review accounting entries for accuracy and support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Maintain documentation for internal and external audits and prepare management reports.

Required profile

• Semi‑Qualified CA or CA Finalist preferred.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or Commerce.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting software/ERP.
• Knowledge of Nepalese taxation, VAT and TDS regulations.
