About the role

Holiday Inn Express Kathmandu Naxal is a modern, internationally‑branded hotel seeking an enthusiastic Front Office On‑the‑Job Trainee. You will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering warm welcomes, handling reservations, and providing local insights to ensure memorable stays.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members in person or by phone.
• Take, manage and receive payments for guest bookings.
• Perform swift and seamless check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer tailored recommendations, including restaurant and service suggestions.
• Serve as the trusted contact for guests, handling billing issues, providing information, and assisting with any requests.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills to handle guest concerns and compliments.
• Problem‑solving ability to turn issues into positive experiences.
• Fluency in the local language; additional languages are a plus.
• Literate and tech‑savvy with good reading, writing, basic maths and computer abilities.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
