Fundraising Specialist

About the role

The Fundraising Specialist will design, develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure financial support for the foundation’s programmes. Working in a hybrid model, the role blends remote work with regular in‑office engagement and requires independent execution with weekly progress reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with project goals.
• Identify and engage potential donors, corporate partners, grant opportunities and CSR initiatives.
• Prepare proposals, sponsorship decks, donor letters, concept notes and grant applications.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, NGOs, INGOs, government bodies and community stakeholders.
• Organise fundraising campaigns, virtual donor meetings and outreach activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand budgetary and impact requirements.
• Maintain donor databases, communication records and follow‑up schedules.
• Submit weekly fundraising progress reports every Friday.
• Represent the foundation in online meetings, networking events and partnership discussions.
• Support branding, storytelling and communication for fundraising campaigns.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in fundraising, donor relations or grant writing.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage weekly reporting.
• Strong communication skills and capacity to build lasting stakeholder relationships.
