German Language Instructor

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time German Language Instructor to join our Kathmandu office. The instructor will deliver interactive German classes to learners of varying proficiency levels, supporting their academic and study‑abroad goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess German language lessons for multiple proficiency levels.
• Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate attendance and performance records.
• Prepare students for language proficiency examinations.
• Collaborate with counseling and academic staff to align language training with study‑abroad objectives.
• Participate in professional development workshops and training sessions.

Required profile

• Strong teaching skills in German, capable of instructing learners at different levels.
• Experience in lesson planning and designing learner‑centered instructional materials.
• Knowledge of German literature and cultural aspects to enrich learning.
• Proficiency in German (spoken and written) at B2 level or higher; teaching certification (e.g., Goethe‑Institut) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Education, or a related field and prior classroom teaching experience.
