GM of Finance

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead the financial operations of our real estate company in Baluwatar. The GM of Finance will provide strategic financial leadership, ensuring sustainability while supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and long‑term growth plans.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring departmental budgets reflect organizational priorities.
• Oversee all financial reporting and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Manage treasury operations, optimizing cash flow and working capital to support uninterrupted business operations.
• Evaluate investment proposals and assess their financial viability to guide strategic decision‑making.
• Implement cost‑control strategies to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
• Establish comprehensive financial risk‑management strategies to safeguard the organization’s assets.
• Ensure compliance with taxation laws and oversee timely filing of tax returns and statutory submissions.
• Lead and mentor the Finance Department, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to the Managing Director and Board of Directors.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA or CPA are highly preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 4 years in a senior financial leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, corporate finance, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proven ability in financial analysis, strategic planning and decision‑making.
