Graphic Designer & Video Editor

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Kathmandu combines graphic design and video editing to create compelling visual content for an education consultancy. You will design digital and print assets while also planning, shooting, and editing video material that promotes the company’s services.

Key responsibilities

• Design social media graphics, brochures, banners, presentations and other marketing collateral following brand guidelines.
• Plan, film, edit and produce promotional videos, student testimonials, event highlights and educational explainers.
• Collaborate with counseling and marketing teams to align creative output with campaign objectives.
• Adapt assets for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and the company website.
• Manage project timelines, maintain an organized library of design and media files, and contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions.
• Continuously improve visual content based on performance metrics and feedback.

Required profile

• Strong graphic design background with a solid portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (or equivalent).
• Experience with video production and editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, including basic motion graphics.
• Good understanding of branding, layout, typography and color theory.
• Ability to design for multiple channels (social, web, print) and optimize assets for each platform.
• Effective communication, teamwork and attention to detail.
• Relevant academic qualification in Design, Multimedia, Visual Communication or comparable practical experience.
