Guest Experiences Officer

About the role

Nextdoor is seeking a passionate Guest Experiences Officer to shape memorable stays for travelers in its Thamel and Ratopul locations. You will be the front‑line ambassador, guiding guests from the first inquiry through check‑in, activities, and post‑stay follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all front‑desk processes, checklists and guest reservations.
• Coordinate guest receivables and maintain payment systems.
• Understand guest needs and tailor services accordingly.
• Identify and organise activities, handling logistics to create business opportunities.
• Produce basic social‑media updates that reflect the Nextdoor experience.
• Ensure social spaces embody brand values and coordinate with supervisors to maintain services and amenities.
• Support the team in maintaining an online presence and generating positive guest reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of experience in hospitality or a service‑oriented role.
• Passion for Kathmandu and independent travel.
• Genuine interest in meeting people and exploring local art, music and culture.
• Knowledge of social‑media dynamics and user‑generated reviews in hospitality.
• Ability to stay composed in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Courage to propose ideas and humility when evaluating staff performance.
