Head of Credit & Administration

About the role

Jagdamba Hire Purchase Limited is seeking a dynamic professional to lead its Credit and Administration function. The role involves overseeing loan documentation, insurance processes, collateral management and regulatory compliance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all Credit & Administration operations, ensuring complete and accurate loan documentation before disbursement.
• Monitor insurance issuance, renewals, endorsements and claims, and maintain collateral records and system updates.
• Maintain VAT bills, insurance policies, bill books and bluebooks, and ensure product‑wise loan account opening and nominee compliance.
• Coordinate with dealers, insurers and internal departments while guaranteeing compliance with company policies, audit standards and AML/CFT regulations.
• Prepare and submit AML/CFT and other regulatory reports to Nepal Rastra Bank and review operational reports to monitor departmental performance.
• Lead, coach and develop the Credit & Administration team, identify process improvements and strengthen operational controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA in Finance preferred); minimum 5 years experience for bachelor holders or 2 years for master holders.
• At least 2 years experience in a BFI or hire‑purchase company within Credit & Administration.
• Strong knowledge of company products, LOS/LMS software and advanced MS Office skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with LOS/LMS loan management systems.
• Advanced use of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
