Head of Customer Supply Chain (Distribution)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Customer Supply Chain (Distribution) to lead end‑to‑end product flow from distribution centres to customers and trade channels for a multinational organization. The role will drive distribution excellence, order‑to‑cash performance and cost optimisation while collaborating closely with sales, planning, logistics and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the customer supply chain and distribution strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure timely product availability across all channels and geographies, monitoring OTIF, fill‑rate and delivery performance.
• Lead transportation and secondary distribution, optimise routes, fleet utilisation and manage third‑party logistics providers.
• Partner with sales and commercial teams to translate customer requirements into service‑level processes.
• Collaborate with demand, supply and warehouse functions to balance inventory levels and reduce stock‑outs.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs and continuous‑improvement initiatives to lower logistics costs and enhance productivity.
• Build, mentor and develop a high‑performance supply chain team while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
• 12‑15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, distribution or logistics, preferably in FMCG or high‑volume consumer goods.
• Proven track record managing large distribution networks, third‑party providers and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical, commercial and negotiation abilities with senior stakeholder management experience.
