Head of Marketing – Ecommerce

About the role

The Head of Marketing (Ecommerce) will lead the planning, execution and optimisation of all ecommerce marketing initiatives for both client projects and internal programmes. Based on‑site in Kathmandu, the role combines data‑driven strategy development with cross‑functional coordination to drive sales, brand visibility and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement data‑driven ecommerce marketing strategies aligned with sales targets and brand positioning.
• Oversee digital campaigns across SEO, SEM, social media, email and marketing automation platforms.
• Manage online promotional activities and coordinate with sales, operations and HR consulting teams.
• Supervise market research, monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead public relations and brand communication to strengthen online visibility.
• Guide a multidisciplinary marketing team, manage budgets and report performance to senior leadership and clients.

Required profile

• 5+ years of relevant marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong expertise in market planning, market research, sales alignment and public relations.
• Proven experience leading ecommerce or digital marketing functions, preferably in consulting or HR services.
• Ability to manage cross‑functional teams, multiple concurrent projects and budgets.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
