Head of Sales

About the role

The Head of Sales will lead Hotel Shambala’s sales function, driving revenue growth across corporate, leisure and group segments. This full‑time, on‑site position requires close collaboration with marketing, operations and front‑office teams to maximise occupancy and brand visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for corporate, leisure and group markets.
• Manage key accounts and build long‑term relationships with travel agencies, INGOs and embassies.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market reach.
• Analyse market trends, performance data and prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports.
• Lead, mentor and set performance targets for the sales team.
• Coordinate with marketing and operations to align promotions and guest offerings.
• Represent the hotel at industry events and networking functions.
• Maintain consistent service standards for all clients and partners.

Required profile

• Proven sales and sales‑management experience with a track record of revenue growth.
• Strong account‑management background, especially with corporate, travel and institutional clients.
• Demonstrated team‑leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent analytical skills for interpreting sales data and market trends.
• Hospitality or hotel‑sales experience preferred, with knowledge of local and international tourism markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing or a related field.
