Head of Skills & Education

About the role

Glocal Private Limited is seeking a dynamic leader to own its Skills & Education portfolio. As Head of Skills & Education you will drive strategy, product delivery, partnerships and revenue growth for a suite of training programmes, events and certification courses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and achieve annual revenue targets through training programmes, conferences, competitions, immersion trips and sponsorships.
• Plan, manage and continuously improve all learning and professional development activities.
• Build and maintain partnerships with corporate organisations, schools, universities, development agencies and certification bodies.
• Lead business development efforts including client acquisition, proposals, negotiations, contracts and strategic alliances.
• Mentor and manage cross‑functional teams (program, counseling, business development, marketing, operations) while ensuring high performance and quality.
• Oversee budgets, program costs, revenue shares, contribution margins and marketing spend to optimise profitability.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback, providing regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of progressive experience in business development, education/training operations or student‑career counseling.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams to achieve high performance.
• Demonstrated success in B2B and B2C sales, partnership development and meeting revenue targets.
• Experience managing budgets, marketing initiatives and operational processes.
