Head Teacher Fellow

About the role

Karkhana is looking for a Head Teacher Fellow to work closely with the Head Teacher in coordinating programs, people and systems across its science education initiatives in Nepal. This full‑time position offers an intensive learning experience for someone eager to understand how an education organization operates, improves and scales.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive support to the Head Teacher, managing calendar, meetings, travel, and communications.
• Prepare agendas, presentations, meeting notes and track action items across teams.
• Support strategic planning by tracking goals, maintaining dashboards and progress reports.
• Follow up on cross‑unit commitments and document decisions to ensure execution.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and propose improvements.
• Visit partner schools for classroom observations and document implementation challenges.
• Coordinate with schools, universities, government agencies, partners and external organisations.
• Assist in preparation for leadership retreats, board meetings and strategic reviews.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic learner who can quickly absorb new information.
• Strong problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Comfortable supporting multiple teams and managing complex workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

What we offer

• Full‑time schedule (10 AM – 6 PM, Sunday to Friday).
• Monthly salary between NRs 20,000 and NRs 25,000.
