Hub Associate – Operations & Merchant Management

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Hub Associate to manage day‑to‑day operations at our Dharan hub. The role ensures smooth workflow, compliance with company standards, and strong coordination with delivery agents, merchants and the Kathmandu hub.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily hub operations, ensuring adherence to procedures, quality standards and on‑time delivery.
• Coordinate with the Kathmandu hub to align processes and improve efficiency.
• Recruit, train, onboard and manage delivery agents/drivers, handling performance issues and disciplinary actions.
• Monitor hub performance, prepare regular reports on productivity, delivery metrics and operational challenges.
• Reconcile cash and returned products from agents, maintain accurate records and settle with the Accounts team.
• Create orders in Hermes and 3PL systems, print shipment stickers and assign pickup agents.
• Receive incoming packages, verify shipment details and coordinate handover to transportation teams.
• Conduct market research, approach prospective merchants, negotiate terms and build long‑term partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proven capability to coordinate effectively with cross‑functional teams, delivery agents and merchants.
